Edward Franklin Heinlein, II.

Ed served full time as a Youth Minister, Preaching Minister, Associate Minister, Education Minister and Senior Pastor from 1971-2010, while also teaching full time. Ed was licensed as a Minister through the Sebastopol Church of Christ, located in Northern California, in 1971 under the direction of Minister, Hank Lawson. Ed was later ordained for the Ministry by the West Valley Christian Church, located in West Hills, California, Under the direction of Pastor, Glen Kirby, in 1982. Ed is currently serving as the Senior Pastor of the newly founded San Gabriel Valley Christian Church.

Ed has written extensive curriculum and lessons for various Christian Schools, Sunday School Programs and Public Schools. Additionally, Ed has contributed to various Christian Magazines, Colleges and Study Series. Ed is particularly proud of the following: a Daily Bible Devotional Series entitled Manna for the Morning, The 7 Son Study Series and The Story of the Bible (also called "The Overview").

Ed is married to Edith Jane (Williams) Heinlein, who has also been a teacher of Public and Christian School students for over 40 years. Edith recently retired from the Arcadia Unified School District. Ed and Edith were marries when Edith was the principal of the Nappa Valley Christian School and together they have served as ministry partners for over 30 years.

They have four children and four grand children. Tim the eldest, is an attorney for the Treasury Department, Amanda has a Masters in Education and is completing her Preschool Director's License, Christina has spent the past 3 summers as a JPL intern and is completing a Geology degree at Cal Poly Pomona and David is attending Citrus College in Glendora, California.
